This time we arrived in colourful Colombia and discovered in its exotic landscapes this microlot coffee with the complex profile that makes it stand out and which was rated 90+ on the SCA scale. Buena Vista is grown in the Huila region of Algeciras and produces a small harvest twice a year of Caturra-Castillo variety. It is the dry anaerobic fermentation that elevates its flavour profile in which you find passion fruit, berries and honey. Besides, Edwin Zambrano, the small farmer behind Buena Vista, is a young man dedicated to exceptional processing methods and is constantly experimenting with fermentation methods that go up to 200 hours.
