At Coffee Island we adopt Sustainable Development to build together a better and more beautiful world for future generations. We adopt the Sustainable Development Goals.

All company management parties plan actions that contribute to sustainable development, social solidarity while ensuring a relationship of trust between the company and employees, the local community and the wider community.

We educate the organization, our people and our consumers on the same values that created us. We put into practice what we call “just business”, which is a condition of satisfaction for many social shareholders but is also a profitable model. Doing the right thing pays off in the long run.

We have a presence in 48 counties and 120 cities in Greece.
We constantly support the 414 companies in our network.
We operate in Patras and support our headquarters (administration offices, production units).
We maintain extensive cooperation with local supplier companies.
We support actions of the local community.
We apply strict rules of hygiene and safety in all production units.
We carry out voluntary blood donation 2 times / year & maintain a Blood Bank.
We support our employees by providing discount cards and meal vouchers.

We maintain a blood bank and we gladly carry out voluntary blood donation twice a year, thus helping significantly in emergencies that may arise in any of our members.
We constantly listen to the regular or emergency needs of our employees, thus we regularly strengthen and enrich our additional corporate benefits, both for themselves and for their family.

At Coffee Island, corporate social responsibility is part of its dynamic development, in an effort to develop not only the quality of its products and services, but also the level of its offer to society as a whole.

ENVIRONMENT

We produce safe products, minimizing environmental impacts.
We are in line with modern environmental legislation.
We select certified partners and suppliers.
We improve our production processes aiming at the smallest energy consumption footprint.
We use Renewable Energy Sources in our production and central facilities.
We utilize electric propulsion.
We promote the use of reusable products, instead of plastics. We apply and train our employees in the principle of "reduction, reuse, recycling".

PRODUCT LIABILITY AND BUSINESS LAW

We maintain direct cooperation with small farms through the Contract Farming and Direct Trade Program.
We supply high quality coffees at a fair price.
We ensure the income of growers from small farms by buying all their production.
We build relationships of trust with coffee growers.
We apply and are certified with the ISO22000: 2018 standard for our production process.
